Wire Manufacturing

The wire manufacturing industry includes both ferrous and non-ferrous production. The wire manufacturing machines for both use coolants, oils and process water to lubricate, remove heat and transfer particulate and contaminants to a filter system. The removal of the process solids and contaminants relates directly to higher production rates, longer tool life and better quality product. Filtertech has a wide range of filtration equipment such as gravity filters, vacuum filters, and centrifuges that are used in the wire manufacturing industry. These filtering devices are integrated into complete systems including tanks, pumps, heat exchangers and controls to service the production of continuous cast copper rod, copper wire and rolled copper products to mention just a few.
