Steel Wire Drawing Filtration

This application includes drawing wire from purchased steel rods, bars, or wire and which may be engaged in the further manufacture of products made from wire; establishments primarily engaged in manufacturing steel nails and spikes from purchased materials are also included in this industry. Wet wiredrawing is done using an oil-water emulsion or water which requires continuous filtration to remove iron particulates from the emulsion. Depending on the size of the emulsion system, either a gravity filter or vacuum filter is typically used. Complete system packages including tanks, pumps, heat exchanger and controls can be proposed.
