Industrial Waste Water Filtration

Many industrial process and waste water applications generate “Turbid” (dirty) water whereby suspended material becomes dissolved in the water and cannot be removed by conventional methods such as Liquid Polymers, Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Plate and Frame Filters or similar devices. For the filtering of wastewater, Filtertech has developed a proprietary dry separation chemistry and fully automatic, continuous flow, wastewater filtration system that will coagulate the sub-micronic particles in the water into a stable flocculent. Once the floc is filtered, the clean water can be re-used and the dry contaminant solids are discharged to a container for disposal.

Feasibility testing is performed to determine the wastewater filtration system operating size including required system pumps, tanks and controls. Typical system operating costs are very low. Including separation chemistry, electrical, and filter media costs, some applications have averaged less than .1 cents /gallon of waste water treated.
