Dewatering Filters

The Filtertech model SF, sludge dewatering filter unit automatically separates loose liquid from solids in the sludge dewatering process. This eases the burden of disposal and minimizes make up and replacement costs of valuable process liquids.

The high differential pressure created by the vacuum producer draws liquid through the disposable media, creating a cake of solids. The recovered liquid is then returned to the system or sent to drain. The relatively dry sludge can be disposed or in some cases incinerated.

Complete systems including tanks, pumps and controls can be furnished.
